Fuel markets have turned sharply upwards this week.
Brent crude reached $94.65 per barrel on Tuesday, rising by more than $4 in one session as renewed US-Iran fighting increased concerns over Middle Eastern supplies.
Diesel markets remain particularly tight, with US diesel futures reaching their highest level in more than four years.
Sterling has also weakened to around $1.35, offering UK fuel buyers less protection against dollar-priced oil.
