Fuel markets have pushed higher again this week.
Brent crude has broken above $100 per barrel, its highest level since July, as escalating US-Iran tensions and attacks on Middle Eastern energy infrastructure increase concerns over global supply.
Diesel remains under pressure as tight supply and higher crude costs feed through into refined fuel markets, keeping UK diesel prices elevated.
Sterling is trading around $1.35, slightly stronger than last week, but the scale of the oil price rise means UK fuel buyers are still facing significant upward pressure.
